The Man Who Planted A Forest

A short documentary on Jadav Payeng, who over four decades planted a forest on a barren sandbar in the Brahmaputra.

Directed as part of 101India’s documentary output, which I led as Head of Video Content. Winner at the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase (Jackson Wild / UNDP / CITES), screened at United Nations Headquarters. Official Selection at the 44th Ekotop Film Festival, Bratislava and Banská Bystrica.
